You will change into appropriate attire (swimwear or underwear, with socks, gloves, and a headband provided by us to protect your extremities). You will then step into our state of the art cold chamber for approximately three minutes. The air is dry, which makes the extreme cold much more tolerable than a damp cold.

However, whole-body cold therapy is not suitable for everyone. It is vital you do not use it if you have any of the following contraindications:

  • Heart attack within the last six months
  • Unstable angina pectoris
  • Peripheral arterial occlusive disease
  • Symptomatic lung disease
  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or a history of blood clots

  • Raynaud's syndrome
  • Cold allergy or cold intolerance
