Whole-body cold application in our studio is a wellness and recovery service. It is not a medical treatment, not a diagnostic procedure and not a substitute for prescribed therapy. Never stop or change prescribed medication or treatment on your own.
If you have symptoms, pain, an existing or suspected illness, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, for children and adolescents, and if you take medication, please seek medical advice before any cold application.
In case of acute or threatening symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, paralysis, loss of consciousness or high fever, contact the emergency medical service (116117) or emergency number (112) immediately.
Before your first session you receive an introduction and complete a health questionnaire. If exclusion criteria (contraindications) apply, no session takes place. The decision to take part remains your own responsibility.
Studies referenced here relate to general research on cold application, not to our studio, our equipment or individual guests. Research findings are partly preliminary and cannot be transferred to every person.
